All 4 Dons sides were looking to continue their good form in week 7 of the DCCL.

The 1s made the short trip to Ockbrook. Once again the toss was lost, and the home side elected to bat first. After a steady start, Paul Allen and Tom Williams turned the screw from the tenth over, with Williams (14-4-30-2) particularly nagging. This allowed Chris Windmill to then cause havoc with his slow left arm, taking 5-34 to restrict the home side to 167-9. Josh Brear departed early in the reply, but Nick Rigg and Ollie Baum both scored freely, with Michael Mitchell playing the anchor role. At 133-2, the Dons were cruising to victory. There was to be a slight 'Spondon Wobble', but the winning runs came 6 wickets down with 14 overs to spare, with Mitchell top scoring with 69.

The 2s hosted Darley Abbey at The HSG Oval and secured a hard fought 5 wicket win. Bowling first, the Dons bowlers did a great job restricting the run rate, without taking regular wickets, as the visitors ended on 173-5. The Dons reply was again led by Andy Brear with 57, supported by 3 20's in the middle order, to claim a 22 point victory.

The 3s also made a short trip to Breadsall. Batting first the Dons made 171-9, with Jason Fowler top scoring with 54. Breadsall's reply went down to the last ball with 3 needed to win. They didnt get it, finishing 170-9, with Allon Paul Scotton the pick of the bowlers with 3-48.

The 4s hosted Cutthorpe at The HSG Oval, and continued on their merry way in 8N. Bowling first the Dons restricted the visitors to 140-6, with Matt Hind taking 2-31. The Dons knocked the total off with ease, Steve Mountney top scoring with 46 not out, as the target was achieved 3 down with ten overs to spare.
