It was another great day for the Dons on Saturday as all 4 teams notched up victories.

The 1s hosted Marehay under cloudy skies at The HSG Oval. The visitors won the toss and elected to bat first. The decision soon looked questionable, as Paul Allen (14-6-15-4) and Tom Williams (12-3-28-2) were in superb form, as they slumped to 44-6. Both were backed up by some excellent catching and a textbook leg side stumping from Kiwi, Rory Christophearson. A few lusty blows took the score near a 100, but Chris Windmill with 3-22, ended the innings on 96. Dons openers Josh Brear and Michael Mitchell added 35 to take the sting out of the game, and dispite losing 4 wickets, the Dons completed a comprehensive 6 wicket win, and maximum points.

The 2s travelled to Breadsall, looking to extend their lead at the top of 4N. Bowling first the Dons dismissed their hosts for 97, with Dean Vickers taking 5-28. There was an early wobble in the reply, and at 17-3 it was looking a bit shakey, but James Rigg (49no) and Jack Gorbert (28no) combined ti lead the Dons to a comfortable 7 wicket win.

The 3s hosted Burton at The HSG Oval, and for the second week running with involved in a nail biter. Having been asked to bat first, the Dons struggled to get to grips with the bowler friendly conditions, being dismissed for 115, with only Rob Mountney (36no) making a real contribution. The bowlers came out firing after the break lead by Allon Paul Scotton (4-30) and Ash Jones (4-28) to dismiss Burton for 103.

The 4s travelled north to Clowne, and continued to bulldoze there way past allcomers. Batting first the Dons made 190 all out, with Isacc Harrsion making 47 and James Fisher 36. Liam Sloman was then the distroyer with the ball, taking 5-22, to roll the hosts for 97.

MitchMichael Mitchell continued his good form on Saturday (just need to get him in a green lid now!!!)
