All four Dons sides were in action on a blisteringly hot afternoon on Saturday.

The 1s travelled to top of the league Sandiacre, knowing a win would see the Dons leap above there opponents. For the fourth week in succession, the Dons lost the toss and were asked to bowl first, on a dry pitch. Paul Allen (5-41) was soon in on the act, reducing the hosts to 78-6. There was no let up when the spinners came on with Joe Ashdown bagging 4-42 to dismiss Sandiacre for 132. With tea not ready the Dons had to bat for 10 tricky overs, and lost Micheal Mitchell and Ollie Baum. Josh Brear followed after tea to leave the score at 32-3. Rory Christophearson and Ben Ashdown looked like they had weathered the storm, until Christophearson was on the end of a dubious LBW decision. At 63-4, it could have gone either way, but Ashdown (48no) took the game to the hosts, including two big sixes as the target was reached without futher scare with 25 overs in the bag.

The 2s hosted Ashover at The HSG Oval. Batting first the Dons innings was littered with starts, as Matt Archer, Andy Brear and James Rigg all made 30's, as we made 205-8. Paul Cook (3-27) took three quick wickets after the restart, and the wickets kept tumbling, with the Dons looking favorites. At 135-8, 27 points looked on, but an unbelievable 9th wicket partnership from the visitors, took them over the line with 2 overs to spare.

The 3s were invloved in a low scoring draw away at Hilton. Sam Stephens (43) and Tyler Forrester (40) were the top scorers, as the Dons made 162-9. The bowlers once again did a great job after the break, with Simon Fearn (3-19) the pick as Hilton finished 129-7.

The 4s hosted Wirksworth at The HSG Oval. Batting first the Dons made 186 all out, with Isacc Harrison top scoring with 59. The visitors had a real go, and came up just short on 179-8, Matt Hind taking 3-36, as the Dons remained top of the league.
