All 4 sides were in action Saturday, with positive results across the board.

The 1s hosted Cutthorpe at The HSG Oval, and once again lost the toss, but unlike previous weeks were asked to bat first. Josh Brear departed early, but this brought together Michael Mitchell and Nick Rigg, and the pair added 190 in an exhibition in running between the wickets and putting the bad ball away. Mitchell departed for a well made 84, with Rigg continuing on for his first premier league ton. There was no rest bite for the visitors, as Ollie Baum then smashed 73 no from 41 balls, as the Dons racked up 305-5. Cutthorpe came out blazing after the break, and were up and around the 6 an over required. Tom Williams bowled an economical spell going for just 22 off 10. The spinners then turn the screw and the rate required went up, and wickets started to fall. Joe Ashdown took 5-54 and Chris Windmill 2-58, as the visitors just held out on 203-9, but 20 points were gained for the Dons.

The 2s travelled to Quarndon, looking to keep the lead at the top of 4N. Bowling first. the Dons restricted the hosts to 195-9, off their 46 overs, Dean Vickers the pick of the bowlers with 3-31. The response started well with Matt Archer (40) and James Rigg (26) adding 50 for the second wicket. Their was a slight wobble in the middle order, but the skipper Sam Kellogg (75 no) held firm, and with the help of Matt Madley (28), secured a 4 wicket win.

The 3s hosted top of the league, Uttoxeter at The HSG Oval, looking to continue their recent good form. The Dons were asked to bat first, and endured a shocking start, with the top 4 all back in the shed early. The innings was rescued by Sam Stephens (61no) and skipper Lee Fox (40) as the Dons scrambled their way to 147 all out. With the Dons bowling attack, anything is possible, and so it panned out, as Will Parker (4-34) was the star, as the visitors were bowled out 1 short of victory, with the Dons now firmly in the promotion picture.

The 4s travelled to Allestree and came away with a routine victory. Bowling first, James Fisher (3-36) and Liam Sloman (3-26) restricted the hosts to 138 all out. The Dons made light work of the chase, with Chintan Desai smashing a quick fire 40, as the Dons passed the target 4 down in 20 overs.
