The Dons travelled to Marehay on Sunday, for the Premier T20 Finals Day.

We were on first, in the first semi final against hosts Marehay. The Dons bowled first, and restricted the hosts to 161-6, with Matt Madeley (2-20) and Chris Windmill (2-11) the pick. The chase looked under control from the start as Joe Ashdown (65 fom 35) and Josh Brear (31 from 23) did most of the damage, as the Dons passed the target 4 down with 3 overs to spare.

In the fianl, the Dons faced off against defending champions Sandiacre. Batting first, the Dons got off to a poor start, and were rescued by Michael Mitchell (34 from 33) and Chris Windmill (62 from 38), as the total limped upto 138-6. Early wickets were the key, and one arrived second ball of the reply. But this was about as good as it got, as the dangerous Birch smashed 65, as Sandiacre cruised past the target 2 down with 5 overs to spare.

Dispite the result, it was another good T20 campaign, and continues our good record of getting to finals day.
