All 4 Dons sides were in action on Saturday, with all 4 needing victories to keep up the pressure at the top of their respective tables.

The 1s travelled to A&B, looking for a repeat results from the previous nights Jackson Cup victory. Once again the toss was lost, and the Dons found themselves batting on a good looking pitch. Michael Mitchell got the innings off to a good start with a few early boundaries, and at 60-1 off 11 a good foundation had been set. The innings stalled somewhat from here. Ollie Baum went for 40 and Josh Brear made 52, but with overs ticking by the new batsman couldn't get the rate up, with the total finishing on a disappointing 192-9. A good start was needed, but the home side cashed in on some wayward bowling. From here they could play risk free, plodding their way to victory, 3 down with 5 overs to spare. The 1s are now 40 off top but with Sandiacre still to play, still an outside chance of giving the league a run.

The 2s hosted Allestree at The HSG Oval, knowing a win was an absolute must. Batting first the Dons stuttered their way to 197 all out, with captain Sam Kellogg making 40, and Isacc Scotton making a vital 23 not out towards the end. It proved to be enough as spinners Isacc Scotton (4-36) and Dean Vickers (4-18) got in on the act, as the visitors were dismissed for 148, leaving the 2s in the hunt for one of two promotion places, with some big games coming up.

The 3s travelled to neighbours Ockbrook, looking keep up with the leaders. Batting first the Dons were in early troubled until Captain Lee Fox (36) and Allon-Paul Scotton (50 n.o) combined to lead the side to a competitive 181-8. After a decent start by the home side, Will Parker then took over, recording incredible figures of 13-5-14-5, dismissing some seasoned campaigners, to lead the Dons to a 45 run victory.

The 4s hosted Denby at The HSG Oval and continued their winning form. Bowling first, Denby had no answer to the home attack as Matt Hind (3-19) and Isacc Harrison (3-9) helped dismiss the visitors for 94. Chinny Desai was in no mood to hang about as he blasted 72 not out to lead the Dons to a 10 wicket victory, and move them to the top of the league.
